BARN QUILT CLASS
Let’s have some fun painting a 24” x 24” Barn quilt for indoor or outdoor display!
TWO CHOICES: Double Aster Barn Quilt OR the Cardinal.
WHAT TO BRING: Wear comfy ‘paint clothes’ and bring an apron if you like
PROVIDED AT CLASS: You will be provided with all the paints to complete your project from the Dixie Belle chalk mineral paint line. That’s right - 64 colors will be available to make your barn quilt uniquely yours. We will discuss options on how to seal your project for both indoor and outdoor applications. Your project should dry for 72 hours prior to sealing it for a long lasting finish.
REGISTRATION: We will need to know which barn quilt pattern you have chosen to paint. It is helpful to have an idea of the colors you would like to use in class and most of our time can be spent painting. Please refer to our Dixie Belle paint booth in the Craft Mall and take a free color guide to help you decide. We will be happy to discuss class details, answer questions, and help with color choices.

Intro to Furniture Painting
WHAT TO BRING:
Bring one small piece of furniture in good repair that you can comfortably carry to the classroom. Examples include end table, night stand, plant stand, bar stool, etc. We have many small furniture pieces in our inventory for purchase if you like as well-just contact us!
PROVIDED AT CLASS:
You will get an 8oz jar of CHALK MINERAL PAINT from current inventory and an 8oz jar of Satin Clear Coat to use on your project and remainder to take home. All brushes and supplies will be provided for your use during class. Please wear comfy 'paint clothes' and bring an apron if you like.
This class will have break times when paint is drying where demonstration & instruction will take place to teach you all the steps how to complete your project with top coats, embellishments such as waxes, stencils, transfers, etc as some of these techniques require longer dry-time than can be accomplished in class.
REGISTRATION: We will be happy to discuss class details, answer questions, and help with furniture choices.
ALL FURNITURE CHOICES MUST BE APPROVED PRIOR TO CLASS so we can make sure you have success learning to paint! We want to make sure you aren’t bringing your large kitchen hutch or a most precious family heirloom to transform as you are learning painting techniques! It is helpful to us if you know the paint color and can tell us ahead of class so we can make sure it is available or bring additional stock to the Craft Mall.
